A friend of mine just purchased a new motorcycle last week. He kindly asked me to take pictures of it for him and well of course I agreed. Some of the photos I really like and others not so much. I also learned a lesson, ALWAYS check your ISO first before you start shooting. I had last set my ISO high and never checked it before taking these pictures. Frustrating! Most of the pictures are SOOC minus slight level adjustments. A few of the photos I ran actions on and was very pleased with the end result. Picture overload!
Nature… April 8, 2010
Tried my hand at some Nature Photography today, I also decided today that I was going to start portfolio building. So far I am pretty sure I have one session set up for the 30th of this month. I hope I do well!
Easter and randoms… April 5, 2010
It’s been a while since I have updated this, so here are a few from Easter as well as some other random shots. I also got a 50mm lens today, during a craigslist sale! So excited!!
OK anyway onto the pictures. Some of my SOOC’s aren’t going to have settings because I had to delete some files to make some room on my SD card, also some do not even have SOOC shots.
Seaside Heights… March 15, 2010
I took a little detour trip to Seaside Heights, New Jersey, on the way to my Grandparents house one town over. I went with the kind of pictures I wanted in mind. Unfortunately mother nature had other ideas, due to the cold, fog and wind I did not get all that I wanted, but here is what I was able to get.
Layla Grace March 3, 2010
Stepping back to talk about something very important for a moment.
Layla Grace is a beautiful 2 year old little girl who is battling cancer (stage 4 Neuroblastoma). I came across her story through a friend and have been following it very closely. Her story is heartbreaking to say the least. I just want to help make more people aware of her situation, in hopes this little girl will get many more prayers and thoughts. No child or family should ever have to go through this.
You can find Layla’s story here: http://laylagrace.org/
Follow her on twitter here: @LaylaGrace

Also please check out Heather Milano Photography if you know a family who has a child that is terminally ill.
(*It was posted in previous days that supporters of Layla Grace could use her photos to spread word about her story.).
