A friend of mine just purchased a new motorcycle last week. He kindly asked me to take pictures of it for him and well of course I agreed. Some of the photos I really like and others not so much. I also learned a lesson, ALWAYS check your ISO first before you start shooting. I had last set my ISO high and never checked it before taking these pictures. Frustrating! Most of the pictures are SOOC minus slight level adjustments. A few of the photos I ran actions on and was very pleased with the end result. Picture overload!
Flowers…Oh and I won… April 28, 2010
Took some pictures yesterday of some flowers, trying to work on my composition. Also I entered a contest on MCP Actions website and I won! Holy crap!! I never win anything. You can see what I won here.
The following flower pictures are pretty much SOOC, except for a resize and sharpen.
Finding Locations… March 16, 2010
I took my daughter Paige out today to find some locations to shoot. We had a blast, but unfortunately I am not happy with most of the pictures I was able to get. Most of the pictures are blown out by the sunlight. I notice one is under exposed and the other over exposed. All in all it was fun and good practice for me.
Layla Grace March 3, 2010
Stepping back to talk about something very important for a moment.
Layla Grace is a beautiful 2 year old little girl who is battling cancer (stage 4 Neuroblastoma). I came across her story through a friend and have been following it very closely. Her story is heartbreaking to say the least. I just want to help make more people aware of her situation, in hopes this little girl will get many more prayers and thoughts. No child or family should ever have to go through this.
You can find Layla’s story here: http://laylagrace.org/
Follow her on twitter here: @LaylaGrace
Facebook page: Praying for Layla Grace
Also please check out Heather Milano Photography if you know a family who has a child that is terminally ill.
(*It was posted in previous days that supporters of Layla Grace could use her photos to spread word about her story.).
Online Photography Course… February 26, 2010
So I decided to take a free online photography class: Here
The first assignment was to take an abstract photo and to take a photo from all different angles. Here is what I came up with.
and one of my son, just for fun.
Kiddo’s… February 25, 2010
Being that we had a snow day today, I figured I would bother the kids with pictures. Enjoy.
WB is off in this picture. Notice how the wall looks gray? Yea it’s actually blue…Thank you Kelly for pointing that out to me!
My first time cloning out an object and let me just say I hated it A LOT!
